Located about four miles east of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by farms, flower-fields, and wineries, Nipomo, California is midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Nipomo is home to a California Landmark, the historic Dana Adobe or "Casa de Dana". It was the home of Boston sea captain William Dana, who in 1837 was granted the 37,888-acre Rancho Nipomo in Southern California.
